About Michael
Michael Albert is a professional photographer and the proprietor of Michael Albert Photography, based in the Southeast Kootenay region of British Columbia.
Though specializing in wedding photography, his work has been featured in consumer magazines such as National Geographic Traveler and Photo District News, as well as in a wide variety of commercial campaigns.
Michael Albert has worked full-time as a photographer since 2004 and is an award-winning member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International and the Wedding Photojournalist Association.
Academically, he’s studied under internationally renowned photojournalist Antonin Kratochvil as well as longtime National Geographic photographer Joe McNally, one of American Photo magazine’s “100 Most Important People in Photography.”
Now a full-time dad as well, he lives in the country with his wife Marie-Eve and bouncing baby girl Adelie.
